The Body Manual: Lecture 2 | Movement

In Home Care, The Body Manual

The human body is 300,000 years old. While the body has remained the same in that time, the software that interacts with it has radically changed. Computers, chairs, cars, and other modern technologies put major physical stress on our bodies every day.

We were designed to move, but with Americans sitting 10+ hours a day, we are starting to see many health issues arise. Being sedentary causes decreased range of motion, joint degeneration,  and weakened bones. It also leads to issues in the cardiovascular system, nervous system, and many more.
